Practice Description: |
Are you ready to work at a deeper level? Patients start healing when they are in a position to face themselves. For this, I am available to listen very carefully to what my patients say because experience and training have taught me that it is the patient's words which must lead the way. The focus is on the patient's speech, often on dreams, in order to guide an experience, which wants to restore meaning to the symptoms and thereby lead to healing.
Extensive training in Lacanian psychoanalysis as well as in a broad range of psychodynamic approaches have prepared me to welcome patients with a wide range of issues. They include but are not limited to depression, anxiety, eating problems, psychosomatic suffering, long term relationship challenges, traumatic experiences and difficult to name unhappiness.
In my practice, I receive people from many ethnic and religious backgrounds. I also have been very involved in work with the gay and lesbian communities. Treatment is offered in English, French and German. Patients with a different mother tongue have found that we can include it effectively in the treatment.
