Practice Description: |
Therapist & A Couch is dedicated to creating space for healing.
As an existential-humanistic therapist, I believe that the search for meaning and purpose is central to our human experience. I approach therapy with a deep respect for each individual's unique journey and the complexity of their inner world.
My practice is grounded in the belief that we all have the capacity for self-awareness, growth, and transformation, and that therapy can help us tap into that potential. I work collaboratively with my clients to create a safe and supportive space where they can explore their thoughts, feelings, and beliefs.
As an existential-humanistic therapist, I prioritize the exploration of the big questions in life: Who am I? What is my purpose? What gives my life meaning? Through this exploration, we can begin to gain insight into our deepest desires and fears, and develop a greater sense of authenticity and connection.
I draw upon a range of therapeutic techniques, including mindfulness, experiential therapy, and emotion-focused therapy, to help clients deepen their self-awareness and increase their capacity for emotional expression. I also emphasize the importance of the therapeutic relationship, recognizing that the quality of the relationship between therapist and client is a key factor in successful therapy outcomes.
If you're looking for a therapist who will meet you with empathy, curiosity, and an open heart, I invite you to reach out and start your journey towards greater self-understanding and fulfillment.

I do not accept insurance, and I do this with intention. Insurance companies require a formal diagnosis and can dictate the number of sessions a client can meet with a therapist. They will also have permanent access to your mental health information. When we choose to opt out of insurance networks, we have greater flexibility in determining a course of treatment that works for you.
If you are concerned about affording therapy, please reach out! As an insurance “workaround,” for clients with Out of Network benefits, I am happy to provide a Superbill. Additionally, I do offer a sliding scale and am happy to discuss this in greater detail with prospective clients. |
