Practice Description: |
 | Until further notice, we will hold all sessions online (e.g. phone, Zoom, Skype, Facetime, Doxy.me, or other channels of your preference). |
Are you stuck in a big and difficult decision? Or do you get tripped up by too many daily decisions? Would you like to get more work done? Establish healthier habits? Improve your time management?
I offer decision coaching to help you set priorities, improve your performance and achieve your goals.
For your big decisions, we will use a structured process to clarify your core values and evaluate your options. This process will help you get clarity for decision, so that you can commit to taking action.
To help you achieve your goals on a daily basis, I employ a variety of evidence-based methods. We usually start with an in-depth assessment of your needs and situation, then develop work strategies to help you develop better habits. The coaching includes homework and ongoing support between sessions.
My specialties: lifestyle and career choices; goal achievement; performance and productivity; change and transitions; time, task and resource management.
My credentials: PhD in Applied Psychology, MS in Career Counseling (University of Freiburg, Switzerland). My expertise in decision-making includes teaching decision aiding techniques at high-school and university levels; offering post-graduate courses in decision counseling techniques for career counselors; currently teaching decision making classes at Portland State University. I have co-authored the book, “Heart and Mind: Mastering the Art of Decision Making,” and have published numerous peer-reviewed research articles in cognitive psychology, neuroscience, decision-making, and coaching techniques.
