Are you feeling stuck in life? Frustrated, anxious or hopeless? Are there painful memories from the past that you can't seem to heal from? Therapy can be an excellent option for anyone struggling with these issues. It can be increasingly challenging to navigate through various life stressors without the proper support in our lives. I can provide that support by using and incorporating contemporary and well researched approaches to therapy, which primarily focuses on utilizing a healthy therapeutic relationship to restructure and strengthen one's emotional world. My goal as a psychologist is to promote and foster emotional and personal growth to help individuals move toward feeling more complete, healthy and fulfilled.
I use a practical, relational, and compassionate approach to help my clients feel empowered and capable of achieving a significant and satisfying level of change in their lives. I believe providing a safe and welcoming environment is key to the therapeutic process. I encourage my clients to take an active and collaborative role in their therapy so it is unique and tailored to their specific strengths, needs and goals.
My previous professional experiences include serving children, adolescents, families and couples, working in a variety of different settings, such as community mental health agencies, medical clinics, and college campuses.
One of the most important aspects of therapy is finding a therapist who you are comfortable with. I offer free initial consultations over the phone to help each potential client feel confident that they are moving forward with a person they can trust and connect with.
