You can enter psychotherapy for a variety of reasons, all of which I can help you through - reduce emotional distress in order to regain a sense of fulfillment in life and/or restore the ability to function in daily activities, improve relationship difficulties (with family, spouse, siblings, friends) caused by issues such as ineffective communication, gain control of unhealthy behaviors such as substance abuse or disordered eating, facilitate healing or promote well-being by nurturing the psychological, emotional, spiritual aspects of oneself, engage in a process of exploration to increase a sense of well-being and satisfaction with oneself, work, school and/or relationships. I pride myself on using an eclectic approach that places my patients' needs first.
 
Dr. Vicki Bolina is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. She obtained her Master of Science Degree (M.S.) and Doctor of Psychology Degree (Psy.D.) from Argosy University - Chicago Northwest Campus. Dr. Bolina has worked in several psychiatric hospitals, nursing homes, a school system, outpatient clinics, a university counseling center, a domestic violence shelter, and a prison. She specializes in mood disorders and has extensive experience providing therapy for children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of issues.

Dr. Bolina's professional interests include childhood disorders, adolescent psychology, and family therapy. In addition to private practice, Dr. Bolina currently teaches at the University of Phoenix and for ITT Technical Institute teaching on-line psychology classes to both undergraduate and graduate level students. Dr. Bolina is married and has two children.
