At this stage of life, I have passed through many life transitions and challenges as we all do, which increases my capability to empathize and appreciate your experiences of change, challenge, and loss. In other words, I get it when you share your story and concerns with me.
I will listen to you as you explain and share your unique description of your experience, your emotions, and worries, what is important to you, your preferred quality of life, and your goals for your treatment and life. We will discuss and identify aspects of your life that may contribute to stress such as relationships and how you cope. Are there lifestyle factors that improve or detract from your quality of life? Depending on your response to medications, we may use one medication, change medication, or add and combine medications. We will review treatment options together, including medication and non-medication approaches. Progress will be reviewed, changes made together. It is important to take action.
