Are you interested in solving your problem and putting it behind you, instead of analyzing it to no end? I practice Solution-Focused therapy, which is a form of brief therapy that really works.
I believe that the way therapy works should not be mysterious. Together we will work toward your goals with a 4-step process that includes as much or as little homework as you want.
I am relaxed and down-to-earth. I genuinely like my clients and enjoy my job. The decision to come to counseling does not mean that you cannot figure things out on your own. My clients are smart and fun to work with and recognize that I am a professional ally who can help take the next steps.
You do not need to commit to months of therapy in order to begin. We will take sessions one at a time and keep going as long as you feel they are effective. There are 3 of us who are licensed and work in my practice and we have convenient office hours Monday through Saturday, including 5 evenings.

Second office in Albany at the bottom of Solano Avenue next to 80/580 freeway.
Both offices have street parking and are nice neighborhoods with coffee shops, restaurants, and other conveniences.
