I believe that counseling works best as a partnership. A partnership means we are equals and that we both bring knowledge to the table that we use to address your wants, needs, and concerns. I want you to feel empowered, heard, and respected. I am practical, down to earth, and very positive, which reflects in my counseling style. I like to combine real life experiences with clinical book knowledge to give you a relatable and informed view of your situation.
I have been in the field since 2013. I have worked from all walks of life; children, adults, and the elderly. I have provided therapy in capacities such as group therapy, substance abuse counseling, mental health court, case management, an ACT team, private practice, and community mental health. I have years of experience working with people dealing with addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma, psychosis, behavioral issues, personality disorders, and some others.
