My personal philosophy of counseling begins and ends with compassion and willingness to enter into an individual's experience alongside them. I entered this field because I feel that I have the ability to understand and identify with another person's experiences. My desire is to help you feel greatly empathized with and understood--to help you learn how to deal more effectively with situations in your life.
My style of practice incorporates a combination of traditional therapeutic methods as well as evidence-based treatments. My integrative approach allows me to draw from different modalities based on the nature and characteristics of the individual client.
