Practice Description: |
 | Currently providing telehealth services via video or phone call. |
If you have suffered a traumatic event in your life and you worry that it has, and is, affecting your life and your relationships, I may be able to assist. If you have tried everything to adjust to everyday life, and your past has affected your present and future, I might be able to help. My approach is culturally sensitive and collaborative with clients. I want to be able to work with you as a tool to your goals, trusting that by the time you come into my office, you are ready for some change, though you may be a bit scared. Together, we can explore ways that you can live by, day by day, and safely look into the future. In private practice, I have worked with young adults, older adults, couples, and families. In some cases, clients have found that their issues are resolved with short-term, cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused treatment, but I typically integrate treatment interventions in sessions depending on client needs. We will take our time regardless of how long or short the process, in order to assist you in feeling better about your situation. Culture denotes more than just ethnicity. It considers every aspect of our being and who we are, and how we function, so it is an integral part of my treatment services.
