I am a New York State-licensed clinical psychologist specializing in the psychodynamic and relational-interpersonal treatment of children, adolescents, and adults. I completed my B.A. at Tufts University, and my M.S. and Psy.D. at Long Island University- C.W. Post. I completed my internship and a postdoctoral fellowship at Andrus Children's Center, an outpatient community mental health clinic in Yonkers, as well as a second postdoctoral fellowship treating adults at the William Alanson White Institute, an interpersonal psychoanalytic training clinic on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
I offer a flexible, integrative treatment approach, tailored to each client's individual needs. I have published research on the uniqueness of each client-therapist dyad in play therapy, and thus understand the importance of a relationship-based approach to working with both children and adults.
My special areas of interest and expertise include, but are not limited to, the prevention and treatment of childhood trauma; social and developmental delays, including autism-spectrum and Asperger's disorders; play therapy; family therapy; and relational and occupational transitions in young adulthood.
