I believe Professional Counseling is often the KEY to healing. Somewhat like a "puzzle box" needs a key to open, to reveal a treasure, our lives are often puzzling and we find we are in need of a way (key) to obtain the answers/serenity that reside within us. A professional counselor often serves the purpose of assisting clients in finding way to unlock the knowledge and peace held deep inside.
I have expertise in managing various mental health issues within a variety of locales. My approach to psychotherapy involves being "fully present" at each session to assist my clients in finding their way through life's challenges. I am always aware that each of us is our own expert; after all, who knows you better than you?! Through the counseling process you will help me understand where you are on your life journey...from there I will join you on your path, assisting you wherever possible in recognizing the options/opportunities/obstacles that may lie ahead.
I am honored to daily engage in a process that I love...as I help others, I am also helped in growing as my own person. By taking this first step, you have already displayed a readiness to begin this process; therefore, if you are ready for assistance in navigating your life-travels, please call for an appointment.

Insurance and Billing Instructions: |
All billing services for psychotherapy will be completed for "participating provider" insurance companies. As an "out-of-network provider", a receipt may be given to client to submit to their own insurance company for reimbursement according to contractual agreements. Co-payments and out-of-pocket expenses are expected to be paid at the beginning of each session. Please see the “insurance verification” document under “new client paperwork” for a script to use to verify your insurance benefits and expected copays/expenses prior to our first appointment..
It is important to understand the rights waived when insurance is utilized. I am required to give you a "billable" diagnosis for reimbursement for each service. In addition, insurance companies often decide how long therapy may be used: regarding session times and total number of sessions. Every insurance company has clauses within their policies documenting: benefit eligibility information is not a guarantee of payment. Every insurance company also has the right to audit any of their members' clinical case files at any point in time.
WPCS no longer provides service under various insurance companies due to their restrictive nature; often resulting in an insurance representative making treatment plan decisions over the counselor's best approach. |

If you are interested in utilizing these services, please notify your counselor. These sessions are often not covered by insurance companies, however WPCS allows for credit card payment at the same face-to-face rate of (45 min = $100 and 60+ min = $150) for professional counseling services. |
