Additional Comments: I have over 20 years of experience treating anxiety and depression from teens to older adults. I also specialize in working with issues that affect women across their childbearing years; PMS, pregnancy & postpartum mood disorders and menopause, and for the past 16 years I have also been the Director of the PPD Alliance of Illinois, a non-profit organization helping pregnant & postpartum women and their families.

Humans are social animals and relationship issues frequently come up during therapy, whether the relationship is your partner, family member or friend and I have undertaken extra training to treat individuals, couples and families who are experiencing relationship problems.

Over my years in practice I have seen that weight and eating issues frequently come up during therapy so in recent years I have undertaken further training in weight and eating management and have a special interest in helping women develop healthy lifestyles so we change your relationship with food making it a source of pleasure rather than a source of conflict. Visit to download a free booklet about emotional eating.
