Practice Description: |
Psychotherapy is a process that we will embark on together. I utilize a depth psychological approach. People are often drawn to this type of therapy when they want a deeper understanding to their inner world. This process may lead you to understanding your deeper self that is wanting to become known. You may find this connection by discussing your dreams, creating sand trays, or other spontaneous means of self-expression.
I consider it an honor and privilege when someone chooses me as their psychotherapist. Building a trusting relationship with a psychotherapist is essential, and this takes time. I will provide you with a safe space to explore your inner passages. Throughout this process, I will go where you go. You might be hesitant to reach out. You may have had thoughts for a long time that you should talk to someone. Or, maybe you have seen someone in the past, and you are now at a place in your life where you are ready to begin a new process. The first step, as cliché as it may sound, is the most difficult to take. However, only you will know when it is time.
I have been licensed as a mental health clinician since 2009, and I have worked with diverse populations. I received extensive training in Jungian Sandplay Therapy. I have also been in training to be a Jungian analyst since 2018. I am currently an analyst in training at the C.G. Jung Institute of New York.
