As a parent, you want the best for your child. Perhaps it was easier when they were younger. Now that he or she is a teenager, things are more difficult. These days the world is more complicated. Children are influenced by their peers, the internet, and the media. Do you worry if she is making the right choices? Maybe you are feeling like you used to have a close relationship and now your teen is more distance. Many parents who come to see me ask “Why is she so angry?” At times you may feel like you don’t know what to do? I’d like to help.
Most parents feel overwhelmed when their child enters middle school or high school. You are not alone. I would like to support you through what is a challenging time for most parents.
