Practice Description: |
 | I am currently offering tele-therapy for all clients, as well as in person therapy in my office. Please call if you would like to set up a time for us to have a video session, or in person meeting. |
Everyone encounters challenges in their life, and while I can’t change difficult situations of the past, in therapy we will work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. I believe one of the most important aspects of a successful psychotherapy experience is a strong relationship between the therapist and client. In my work, I emphasize working in collaboration to create change and foster personal growth. I consider life experiences, family relationships and individual personality styles as I offer a highly personalized approach tailored to meet the unique needs of each of my clients.
With adults, I commonly work with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, body image and life transitions. I frequently work with children and teens surrounding issues such as anxiety, depression, oppositional behavior, peer interactions, family relationships and school related issues. I also work with couples to improve communication and marital satisfaction.
One of my two therapy rooms is designed specifically for play therapy. This environment is effective in helping children learn new skills and imaginary play promotes exploring feelings and expressing emotions in constructive ways. Also, I have experience counseling hearing impaired individuals and their families.
