Practice Description: Are you a child, adolescent or adult struggling with thoughts, feelings or behaviors that make it difficult to move forward in school, your career, or your life?

Or are you are a highly successful individual who wants to identify and work through your issues, and reach the next level in your career, interpersonal life or self awareness?

South Coast Psychiatry can help. We have top notch psychiatrists, both adult psychiatrists and a child and adolescent psychiatrist, licensed educational psychologists and board certified behavioral analyst, a psychiatric nurse practitioner, clinical therapists, and a speech and language pathologist -- all of whom work together to help evaluate and treat a wide variety of emotional, cognitive, social and interpersonal issues.

Our dedicated clinicians and full-time staff provide a concierge level of service, unprecedented in Orange County. We do not believe in the "five minute medication check" -- our minimum visit with a patient (for "medications only") is 30 minutes, and our MDs, NP and PhDs routinely offer 60 and 90 minute visits with patients to provide a combination of psychotherapy and medication management, or psychotherapy alone. All of our clinicians get to know our patients in depth, and figure out the myriad ways we can help them move forward in their lives.

At South Coast Psychiatry, we are equipped to look at biological contributions, psychological dynamics, and social factors that are contributing to your current situation. Our clinicians will work with you to put together a comprehensive biopsychosocialspiritual treatment plan that can help both achieve and maintain emotional health and wellness. We believe that by addressing these spheres in an integrated way, you will have the best chance of moving forward in your life.

All of our clinicians also understand organizations and management, and can help vocationally as well, to help you figure out a career change or path, or to identify dynamics and implement changes that can help you succeed both personally and professionally.

At South Coast Psychiatry, we provide both psychiatric assessments and medication management (if needed), psychodiagnostic, neuropsychological and speech and language testing, individual psychotherapy for kids, adolescents and adults, family therapy, couples therapy, group therapy, including CBT, DBT, and mindfulness based therapies, in-home behavioral therapy as well as IEP advocacy if needed for kids/adolescents, as well as executive/life coaching for adults.

While we work in a multidisciplinary, collaborative team, at South Coast Psychiatry, we also see patients for medications alone who are already being seen by a therapist they know and trust, and will work with your therapist to help you move forward.

We look forward to working with you to achieve your goals!
