As a psychologist and certified yoga instructor, I utilize dialogue and body-centered techniques to facilitate my clients' understanding and awareness of themselves at the physical and psychological level. For example, when we move more deeply into our awareness of our bodies and our breath, we can experience a shift in our way of thinking about ourselves, our world, and our relationship to one another. Likewise, through a deeper understanding of how our mind works, we find ourselves moving deeper into our bodies and experiencing more flexibility, balance, strength and well-being.
My psychotherapy practice is holistic in nature. I am interested in your overall health and well being and believe that it is through a deeper self awareness that suffering is alleviated. Psychotherapy is a collaborative journey. We'll identify where you feel stuck and work towards resolution through increased mindfulness.
Join me this spring/summer for a week long Mindfulness Retreat in the mountains of Jamaica. Learn the basic techniques of yoga, meditation, pranayama, and visualization.
