Practice Description: |
As a clinician with two decades of experience, I have an eclectic way of working and have been trained in many areas over the years. I specialize in offering a shame-free space for you to feel safe in order to be honest and your true self.
I don’t just see a diagnosis. In exploring your challenges, together we try to figure out how to play to your strengths and build your capacity to cope better with life transitions and other stressors.
Starting therapy can be exciting but it can also be intimidating. I have seen people start therapy for the very first time. Some people return to therapy and feel they have to start from the beginning, your whole life story AGAIN.
Seeking therapy takes courage and motivation but it can also take a sense of desperation and suffering. If you self medicate with food, work, sex, spending, substances, people, ….etc...., With curiosity, and self-compassion, we gently peel the layers to hear and see what your needs are that you are trying to meet in yourself.
No need to prepare, fix or control how this works. Show up as you are, and I will meet you!
