I specialize in relationship issues, crisis counseling, and the treatment of depression, anxiety, addictions, and sexual issues. My approach is holistic and compassionate, helping clients deepen their self-understanding, and to increase their capacity to respond positively to challenging feelings and circumstances.
Psychological patterns based in fear, anger, resentment, and sorrow are harmful to our well-being at every level, and changing these patterns on our own can be challenging .
The free flow of energy in the body is fundamental to emotional and physical equanimity. If the body is not open, if we are struggling and have a problematic outlook, life force is not moving freely. In that disposition, we are suffering, unable to give and receive positive energy, and this greatly obstructs healing and our ability to be happy.
In my therapeutic approach I am sensitive to the root of suffering. Teaching clients how to relax and respond to their feelings, to forgive themselves and others, and to challenge and grow past their limits is central to my work with clients and leads to lasting improvements in their quality of life.
