 | I am currently offering both telehealth (phone or Zoom) as well as in-person services to vaccinated individuals. |
I work with adults in individual and group psychotherapy. My approach draws from relational and modern psychoanalytic therapies, CBT, neuroscience, and mindfulness. I also pay close attention to identity and the influences of privilege and marginalization.
Over many years of providing therapy, I remain moved by a basic human fact: as much as we want change in our lives, our brains are "wired" to keep things safe, familiar, and unhappy. This dilemma informs my approach to psychotherapy which I will shape to meet your specific needs.
