Practice Description: Making the decision to come into therapy will absolutely change your life. As a professional counselor/psychotherapist of 20 + years I want to work with you to support you in the discovery of your true self. Think about what your true calling in life might be. Is your tendency to block yourself from creating your true desires as though you are having an adverse reaction to living in your truth? Our tendency is to avoid our deepest callings and push away our thoughts and feelings from what you know is best. We all have our internal voice that is so important to acknowledge. I want to support you to live a healthy, meaningful life. Many of us go on to live a false life and give up on believing that we can create better lives. If we use fear to drive us then we won't be able to find our joy. My approach is humanistic - I am a client centered therapist.
I also believe in the existential modality of finding meaning in our lives by becoming responsible/accountable to ourselves.
If you struggle with toxic relationships, depression, anxiety, addiction, PTSD, and unmanageable stress, I want to work with you. Every client will receive a customized treatment plan which will enable you to remain focused on your therapy. We will be proactive together in facing your issues that you are ready to solve.
I look forward to hearing from you and I am ready to be on your journey with you. Become your own hero by standing in your truth and convictions. Thanking you in advance in choosing me as your therapist.

Additional Comments: I have worked in the field of addictions for 20 years as a professional therapist. I understand addiction and have the skills/tools to support clients in becoming clean and sober, early stage recovery, as well as relapse prevention. I currently work with several clients that are maintaining sobriety and feel very supported in therapy from my professional services.
On the other end of the spectrum are the codependents, the individuals that believe their lives will be "better" and "happier" once others change. Codependents struggle with knowing how to focus on themselves and their lives depend on the illusion of "fixing" others. Feeling overwhelmed and not having a sense of self or boundaries becomes very debilitating and depressing. As a therapist, I feel very confident in my skill set to help clients learn how to value themselves, find their truth, and to learn how to not be driven by fear which keeps us from our joy.
My mission as a therapist is to steer people away from living a false life and to trust your calling in life and to honor your internal voice.
