I work primarily with adults on issues including, anxiety, depression, addictions, parenting, relationships, and problem solving. I also specialize in working with teenage boys. I often use sports analogies and lessons to address issues such as self-esteem, depression, anxiety, and school performance. In addition to working with adults and teenagers, I work with couples focusing on conflict resolution, effective communication, intimacy, parenting and other life transitions.
I have found that for many, the traditional treatment for anxiety and depression are often not very successful. While I believe individual therapy is helpful, I also encourage my clients to attend one of several groups that I have created. I am also a big fan of Alchoholics Anonynous and the 12 Steps.
I received my Masters Degree in Social Work from The University of Chicago's School of Social Service Administration and my formal life coach training from The Coaches Training Institute and Dave Ellis Leadership, both International Coach Federation accredited programs.
