Practice Description: We all have a "true self" that embodies our innate wisdom, love, intelligence, creativity, peace, joy, harmony, health, and wholeness. Psychotherapy is an ideal way to move closer to this ideal place within our being. For those interested in adding a dimension of philosophy, existentialism and spirituality you can watch a 2 minute video here: or listen to a 40 minute radio interview here:

My approach is eclectic. I apply whatever healing process will best assist a client to gain access to their true self. This could range from traditional psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, and psycho-spiritual therapy.

I encourage and educate my clients to rely more on trusting themselves for their well-being. This is the way to self-empowerment, self-esteem, self-love, and loving others.

I have a long history of practicing and teaching body/mind techniques, including yoga, meditation, t'ai chi chih, qigong, deep breathing, and imagery. With some clients, I have encouraged use of these techniques outside of therapy, when applicable, along with spiritual principles. This can reduce anxiety and depression, and hasten the quest for physical and mental fulfillment. I've also explored the major religions of the world, in the attempt to grasp, practice, and promote the universal truths found in their teachings.

I love being involved in a relationship with a client who is in earnest pursuit of healing, truth, and freedom. It's a true gift to help and witness another human being gain a measure of freedom from excessive fear, guilt, anger, sadness, grief, anxiety, and depression; to guide a client to move closer to his or her true self; to be able to love and be loved more.

It's particularly satisfying working with people to form healthy relationships, whether they are not in a relationship they wish to save or improve; or seek comfort from the pain of losing an important relationship.
