Practice Description:
I am offering teletherapy through zoom to help clients practice safe social distancing and still get the therapy they need during this difficult and uncertain time.

"The purpose of life is to be ALIVE" (Charlotte Kasl, PhD)-

With over fifteen years of clinical experience, I help people navigate the stormy seas of complicated relationships. Weather you are involved with a manipulative partner, struggling in your marriage, dealing with infidelity, considering uncoupling, starting over, or grieving the loss of the one you love, I can help you get to the heart of the matter so that you can heal and make loving and authentic choices for yourself.

As human beings, we thrive when we feel connected to others. For some, connection does not come easily and intimacy poses many challenges. I can help you understand why that might be and how to change it. Whether you are struggling with a personal or professional relationship, I can help you turn whatever blocks and obstacles that you are experiencing into grand opportunities for personal growth, wisdom, and a deeper sense of aliveness with both yourself and your partner. It IS possible to have happy, healthy, fun, playful and passionate relationships in your life, it that is what your heart desires.

Though where you find yourself right now as you consider coming to therapy may not at all be where you thought you would be, you are where you are. With a willingness and openness to learn, heal and grow, the sky is the limit for you and I want to help you find that!

I offer a warm, safe, caring, nonjudgmental, and empathic therapeutic relationship with you to help you heal and grow. I will work collaboratively with you to help you identify and discover the negative beliefs, patterns and cycles in your life that hold you back, where and how they originated, and offer you the tools you need to shift, change and grow. Little by little by little your life will transform as "the journey of a thousand miles begins with one step."

My practice is unique as I draw upon many therapeutic traditions and techniques to best serve your individual needs while "meeting you where you are at and helping you travel to the places you desire but may fear to go." With over 25 years of combined professional experience, I work with a holistic and multidisciplinary model - integrating the biological, psychological, social, cultural and spiritual elements of each unique individual's life. I will help explore who you are, grieve what you've been through and discover new ways and possibilities of being and relating in the world. As a registered yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance International, I also offer and integrated mind / body/ spirit approach to therapy for those who are interested. Whether or not we end up working together, I wish you all the joy, happiness and success that you so richly deserve!

To learn more about how I work clinically, there's a free preview of my new book: Finding Hope in the Crisis: A Therapist's Perspective on Love, Loss, and Courage, now available on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Finding-Hope-Crisis-TherapistS-Perspective-ebook/dp/B07DKXN87G/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1534610227&sr=8-1&keywords=finding+hope+in+the+crisis

I look forward to working with you!
