Practice Description: |
When our old methods of coping with life's difficulties no longer work, we can find ourselves stuck – in depression, with anxiety, feeling worthless, maybe afraid to even reach out for help. Talking with someone who can assist you in discovering what went wrong and how to heal from it could be invaluable. I have years of experience helping people find their way back to meaningful lives.
My theoretic orientation is Psychodynamic. Since each person is unique and has a story to tell, I'll want to hear your story. I strive to provide everyone with a non-judgmental, empathic atmosphere in which they can feel safe to express any experience however painful or shameful it might feel. Therapy will look different depending on the needs of each individual. For some, I may be quiet, listening more and speaking less. For others I will be more active, challenging them when the need arises. Therapy is a unique experience that relies a great deal on the chemistry between client and therapist.
The best way to determine if we're a good fit is by scheduling a free consultation.
