Practice Description:
At this time I am offering phone or online therapy services to meet the needs of our current crisis. The video session is online, secure, and HIPAA compliant and affords you the security of remaining in your home. I ask that you call first for an initial inquiry and also to determine your preference, phone, online video, or in-person counseling.

My approach to therapy is to first provide a safe, welcoming environment where you can feel heard and understood. I utilize a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness, a discipline that integrates talk therapy with the mind-body connection. My style is open, interactive and non-judgmental. I will support and challenge you to get to the core of the issues to make positive changes in your life. I consider myself a “generalist” but specialties include stress management, life transitions and adjustments, anxiety and depression, low self-esteem, loss, relationship issues, and addiction I currently work with individual adults, couples, families and late adolescents.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with professional experience as well as life experiences. I was a teacher in my profession as the training director for the Southern Arizona Psychology Internship Center, served as board member for the Southern Arizona Psychology Association, and lastly, I was the Associate Director for Residential Services, including a 53-bed, long-term substance abuse residential treatment center. I bring a unique set of experiences and richness to my work with clients
I will help you to explore new coping skills, self-awareness, and communication strategies allowing for greater ease, problem-solving and personal development.
Lastly, I endeavor to understand your perspective, to support you, and to help you clarify what you want for yourself (in therapy and in your life). I look forward to your call or email.

"Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.” Viktor E. Frankl
