Practice Description: Therapy should be a discovery of what it means to be yourself as an individual, as well as what it means to be yourself while in relationships with others. Through conscious choices and greater awareness it is possible to find enriched meaning in your personal life and in your relationships, even in the midst of perplexing or difficult life situations or transitions.

I see individuals, couples and partners. I help my clients focus on how they can learn to trust the process of change and find the courage to engage in their own emotional growth. This process, while challenging at times, often provides a rewarding personal experience for them.

Many of my clients are dealing with concerns relating to: marriage or relationships; improving communication skills; parenting issues; work relationships; grief, loss, or anticipatory grief; and the concerns of partners or adult children of alcoholics.

As a Certified Grief Specialist and Anger Resolution Therapist, clients often come to me for help in dealing with extreme sadness, anger issues, anxiety, depression, feelings of abandonment or betrayal, anticipatory grief, chronic and/or terminal illnesses, and end of life issues. Others focus on marriage or relationships issues; parenting skills; communication skills; or work relationships. I also see clients who are in relationships with (or adult children of) those who suffer from alcohol abuse.

My hope is that my work with you will provide you with a mindful and compassionate space to process intensely personal feelings and beliefs. I also hope to help you use new found knowledge to move forward, accepting that which has been, that which is, and that which will be.
