Practice Description: |
For the past 21 years I have been assisting many members in our community and surrounding areas with an array of mental health issues confronting them and their families. My therapeutic approach focuses on showing you how to change your life by helping you derive a new sense of who you really are, who you want to be, and acquiring the necessary skills to make the desired change in your life a reality. I help you accomplish this by providing you with detailed resources and information on how to change aspects of your life that are keeping you from being where you want to be.
There are two lives for all of us, the life we live and the unlived life within us. The unlived life in so many words has to do with our inability to unveil our true potential and live a fuller and happier life. My approach to counseling borrows from a range of therapeutic models. Together we can find an approach to help you get your needs met.
While family and friends can help you feel better or even provide good advice for change, this is not counseling. Counseling is a professional relationship between a qualified and licensed mental health professional and you that is base on therapeutic principles, structure, and techniques. Counseling is much more than talking about your problem.
If you are experiencing distress in your life, struggling to cope with challenging situations, feel stuck, and unsure of what to do, or simply searching for meaning in your life, this may be a good time to seek counseling.
Don't let emotional problems hold you back. You do not have to suffer alone. My clinic offers a wide range of counseling services for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and the entire family. My practice takes pleasure in having collaborative working agreements with various medical providers in our community who are essential to develop a more effective plan of action, ensure continuity of care, and utmost results from treatment. Come see how I can help you and your family.
