I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a specialization in Family Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis. As valedictorian of both my undergraduate and graduate degree programs, I provide professional excellence and research-proven, effective treatment. I offer real-life solutions to help children, adolescents, and adults achieve their goals and improve their lives.
With over 18 years of national and international work experience, I have helped many people who struggle with Mood Disorders, Anxiety, Relationship Issues, Grief/Loss, Parenting Problems, Behavioral Issues, Trauma and Stress, Anger, as well as Forgiveness and Faith Struggles. To help you achieve emotional well-being, I have completed additional training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Play Therapy, and Couples Therapy.
As mother of a disabled child, I am aware of how even the most difficult situations can be overcome and ultimately turned into strengths. Additionally, having been the lead therapist for a Christian Counseling Organization has equipped me to offer a faith-based treatment approach, if that is what you desire.
I am an in-network as well as an EAP provider for most insurance companies - allowing you to receives services at little or no cost to you. Of course, if you prefer the freedom of not having to work within insurance parameters, you always have the option of privately paying for sessions. A sliding scale exists. For your convenience, phone and video sessions are also available.
