Practice Description: My practice is based on evidence- based interventions include EMDR, Brainspotting, Neurofeedback Mindfulness and Systemic framework. Research has shown that EMDR and Brainspotting is effective in treating trauma and PTSD, anxiety and depression and a variety of psychological concerns.
People come to me for therapy for a variety of reasons, including personal and professional difficulties, stress, unresolved trauma, ongoing conflict, anger, fear, sadness, shame, helplessness, difficulty concentrating, and struggling to be engaged or fully function in life.

I help couples, families, and individuals collaboratively tackle these challenges, allowing them to create new insights, and move beyond being stuck. My work is built on years of evidence-based treatments and experience.

My interests include, but are not limited to, anxiety, depression, PTSD, sexual, physical traumas head trauma, strokes Medical Family Therapy, ambiguous loss and grief, mental illness, cross-cultural counseling, interracial marriage, sexual, emotional and intellectual intimacy.

My subspecialty is Medical Family Therapy (MFT), which applies systems theory to the bio-psycho-social-spiritual systems approach. This style often works well with clients who experience disability, trauma, illness, and physical health problems.
