Choosing the right therapist could be one of the most important decisions you will ever make. You need to trust the therapist and believe in the confidentiality that will allow you to share your feelings, fears, questions and inadequacies. When life becomes challenging, therapy is an effective way to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and what has brought you to the point of seeking guidance and perspective. I use theory, experience, compassion and humor to assist my clients. Through the counseling process I work alongside my clients as they learn to understand past experiences and courageously face present circumstances, moving forward to growth, healing and peace.
The approach I use is a combination of therapeutic skill, clinical experience, compassion and humor to create an atmosphere for growth and healing. In order to meet the needs of each client, I modify my approach and the specific therapeutic techniques I use during the course of treatment.
My belief is that joy is the birthright of every person; I work with each of my clients to achieve this goal. I would love to have the opportunity to help you in your journey to finding the peace and joy you deserve. We can do this together, you are not alone.
