Practice Description: My overall aim is to offer warm, thoughtful, and caring support for you as you deal with whatever ups & downs and life transitions you are going through. And further, to assist you in developing deeper self-awareness and a more integrated way of being yourself, thereby fostering greater life settlement and fulfillment. In addition to dealing with basic life requirements, we all need to nurture our personal uniqueness and life direction. However, these deeper elements are often overlooked in the rush and press of everyday life needs, sometimes leaving a person feeling empty, lost, alone or simply blank. Learning to tune into one's inner lives can bring relief. And seeing oneself as part of a larger whole can result in greater well-being.

My background is in Transpersonal or Depth Psychology, which offers ways to explore both internally and externally. Learning to understand yourself better from inside-out and also from outside-in helps renew and reinvigorate your life situation. We sometimes forget that taking charge of one's life is only partly about financial strength and cultural positioning. More directly and intimately, it is about belief in self, the ability to ward off fear, learning to let go of the past, and to grow one's inner strength, confidence, and intactness. Development in these matters requires caring and compassionate support, as well as the establishing of new practices/strategies. I can help with both, by providing a safe space for the emotional, cognitive, and spiritual experiences arising for you in response to challenges, and by helping you explore the past, let go of blockages, and open up to the unknown future. If you are feeling unsettled, alone, and like you've lost your way, if you are experiencing inner turmoil and/or outer conflict, if you are seeking to understand aspects of your life afresh - any or all of the above! - don't hesitate to be in touch.
