ABOUT. I am a Clinical Psychologist empowering people to take control of their lives. I attended Cal State University Northridge, Pepperdine University, and received my Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology. While completing my Post Doc Internship at UCLA, I was a Research Associate and Lecturer in the Department of Neurology. I have a passion for helping others, and am committed to helping others to improve their lives and relationships. I will support you to recognize to recognize patterns of ineffective thoughts and behaviors, transforming them into solutions that work.
PHILOSOPHY. Finding the right therapist is an integral process to making change. I have found that the connection within the therapeutic relationship is the most critical piece for success.
APPROACH. With over 20 years of experience, my general approach to therapy is to provide support and useful feedback, in an environment where you feel safe and respected. We will work together to understand your goals for treatment and explore the issues that you need help thinking through so that you can create more effective patterns in the future. I believe in a holistic approach to emotional well being including nutrition, exercise and overall wellness. Training aside, I hope to be relatable, down to earth and honest in my approach.
