Are you fully enjoying your life? Or do you feel like you're stuck in first gear? If you're not greeting the day with a sense of optimism, it's important to deal with whatever is getting in the way of having a satisfying life. Maybe that's anxiety or depression. Maybe your relationships (romantic, friend, professional) are difficult. Maybe you expected to have a meaningful career, but you're stuck in a dead-end job. Maybe you expected to be married and starting a family at this time in your life, but that's just not happening for you. Or you're dealing with a positive or negative transition: getting married, a difficult medical diagnosis, birth of a baby or adoption, a break up, death of a loved one, graduating high school or college, landing a new job, facing the empty nest, retirement, among others. Whether it's a positive or negative transition, transitions carry stress. And it's a sign of strength to know when you need professional help to deal with your issues.

Since 1995, I've worked with older adolescents up through older adults, both individuals and couples, to deal with their issues and live more satisfying lives. The services I provide include anxiety treatment, depression treatment, marriage and couples counseling, parenting counseling, job & career support, trauma treatment, and substance misuse treatment.

Please visit my website at www.dianespeartherapy.com and read my blog (www.dianespeartherapy.com/blog) to get a sense of how I work. Then give me a call at 212-353-0296 and get started on the journey toward feeling better. I love helping people find the joy in everyday life!
