Practice Description: |
Are you feeling dissatisfied in your daily life? Things are okay, but you feel something’s not quite the way it should be. You’re employed, maybe in a relationship, socializing with friends, but you wonder if you’re happy. You want to better understand yourself and improve your life, and you’re on this page because you’re trying to figure out if therapy might help you. Please reach out! I have devoted my life to working with people like you and to utilizing the best treatment practices.
While my practice is open to adults of all ages, I have a focus and expertise in working with 20- and 30-year-olds who struggle with all issues - anxiety, relationships, communication, family conflict, work habits, self-esteem, perfectionism, LGBTQ issues, and traumas. My practice is safe landing place for all people. I consider myself to be new-age therapist. Unlike more traditional therapists, I will make suggestions and offer ideas. I may ask you to do powerful writing exercises with me. I will teach you how to better depend on yourself. I will model ways to more effectively communicate with others. I’m here to tell you I will do everything in my power to help you and strongly believe I can. I promise you are in good hands. While I am licensed therapist with a private practice in Los Angeles, I also provide teletherapy sessions for anyone in the entire state of California.
When I was 21, I found myself lost, depressed, generally unhappy, yet on the outside I looked successful. That's when I started seeing a therapist. And soon after, my entire world changed. After graduating from UCLA with a degree in Political Science, I decided to return to school to become a therapist. I don't take this role lightly! I work hard to ensure I am at the top of my game and to am committed to the welfare of clients. I view therapy as simply one way to enhance one's life. It is an effective way to decrease distress and improve satisfaction and happiness. And it works! Often times clients have shared with me they did not have a positive experience with a past therapist, but have found that working with me was gratifying. My colleagues and clients will tell you that I am caring, calm, strong, wise, and nonjudgmental. Most importantly, I am good at "getting it." I invite you to give me a call and give it a try. I will work with you to make this experience worthwhile.
