Is your family struggling with…
• Anxiety and avoidance (OCD, panic, worrying, phobias, etc.)
• Defiance, anger and explosiveness
• Inattention, impulsivity and poor motivation
• School refusal and truancy
• Adjustment (to family loss, illness, separation and divorce, etc.)
• Impairments in sleep, feeding, etc.

Tired of office visits where you endlessly discuss a problem without anything improving? Office-based therapy for the above concerns can be severely limiting, because the above difficulties aren't really experienced in a sterile office, but in actual day-to-day situations, activities, and relationships. As a professional traveling to families throughout Long Island for over 20 years, I understand that intense emotions, troubled relationships and significant avoidance cannot simply be discussed away in therapy, but mindfully experienced and addressed as they occur.

I'm a licensed clinical psychologist and certified school psychologist, specializing in treating children, adolescents, and families using Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) in homes, schools and the community. CBT treatment is highly recommended for anxiety, impulse, and conduct disorders. While it is well-established that CBT within real-world settings significantly improves functioning compared to office-based treatment, few professionals accept the challenge!
