I have experience with video sessions and at this time I am increasing my hours for video or phone sessions. In the age of COVID-19 questions of mortality, life meaning, and anxiety are understandably of major importance. These concerns can be voiced in psychotherapy, leading to greater self-awareness and direction in life. |

Practice Description: |
Over the past 37 years of clinical experience I have worked extensively with a wide variety of people. Having said this, I have worked a great deal with clients presenting the following: Anxiety/Panic, Depression, Eating Disorders, Relationship/Marital Difficulties, Dissociative Disorders, Internet Sexual Addictions, Substance Abuse and Adolescence.
I believe that the most important aspect of therapy is to feel understood and emotionally connected with in a way that feels real and new. Without the real feeling, understanding can be intellectual and without deeper meaning. Without the new experience the therapy is likely to repeat what is already understood and hence not lead to change.
