Practice Description: |
I believe psychotherapy can offer a client the opportunity to explore difficult internal experiences, relationships or life transitions in a safe, supportive environment that encourages productive change. That opportunity is based on a collaborative relationship between client and therapist. It is this relationship that is central to the change process. To facilitate the change that clients hope for, a warm, empathic and open therapist is important.
Individuals and couples who are struggling to find their way in their role as parents have found their work with me particularly helpful in negotiating this difficult life change. I have experience in helping people with other moments of transition, such as loss of a relationship or a job.
