Transitions: A Counseling Center for Individuals and Families, LLC has now become a group practice of six female therapists. Each of us provide Individual, Family, and Couples Therapy. New clients interested in any therapist may make an appointment by contacting Carey (pictured above) using the e-mail link or calling (860) 652-0428, ext. 0. Feel free to indicate which therapist you would like to work with, the name of your insurance plan, and what days and times you are available.
Carey A. Beyor, LMFT is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has openings usually within one week or less. Carey is available on: Mondays by appointment, Tuesdays from 11 am to 9:30 pm, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 am to 9 pm, and Fridays from 9 am to 6 pm. Carey's main specialities are teens, couples, individuals, and families. Carey has worked with a variety of populations from children to elders and issues such as: family conflict, grief and loss, co-dependency, depression, anxiety, and a range of behavioral issues. Particular areas of interest to her include: new parents/motherhood, postpartum depression, women's issues, sexual intimacy, infertility, and infidelity issues, helping family members through divorce, and parenting issues. She has enjoyed working with diverse populations. Carey believes that the client is as much the expert as the therapist. She is interested in working as a team with her clients to solve the unique issues they may be facing.
Maria Aresco, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is available Thursdays through Saturdays and other days by appointment. She predominantly works with children (ages 3 and up), teens, and their families, however, is also very interested in working with young adults through the age of 20. Maria's areas of special interest include trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, foster care, adoption, parenting support, blended families and coping with life transitions.
Saleha Qureshi, LMFT is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who is available on Mondays, Wednesdays (both with late evenings), and Fridays by appointment. Her specialties include clients with co-occurring disorders, substance/alcohol abuse, trauma. Her areas of special interest include depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, bereavement, dual diagnosis, substance abuse, domestic violence, single parent challenges, couple relational issues, ADHD, mood and personality disorders.
Jennifer Lusa, LCSW, PhD is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is available on Monday evenings from 5 pm to 8 pm. She works with individuals and families ages 10 and up. Jennifer's primary interests include working with individuals who have experienced chronic and episodic trauma, Anxiety Disorders, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Mood Disorder, and attachment related issues.
Lorrie Rowe, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is available on Thursdays and Fridays including late evenings. Lorrie specializes in women's issues, teenagers, victims of sexual/physical abuse and domestic violence, PTSD, co-dependency, and depression. Lorrie has many years experience working with teenagers, families, and individuals of diverse cultural backgrounds. Lorrie has a warm, nurturing and direct style. She is sensitive to individuals and families who have been through a great deal of trauma.
Sandi Quinn, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is available on Monday and Tuesday evenings and Saturdays. Her specialties are teens, adults, couples and families. She has expertise in adult and teen substance abuse. Having previously been a teacher and certified guidance counselor, she has a passion for helping people develop career goals. Sandi is a dynamic, comforting, and direct therapist. She also currently works for the Connecticut Behavioral Health Partnership and may be able to provide families with needed resource information.

Out-of-pocket fees are $150 for the first session (one hour initial assessment) and $125 for continuing sessions (50-minutes). The therapists can be flexible with the out-of-pocket fees when a client does not carry insurance they can accept. |

Transitions Counseling Center will take care of the billing for all of the plans that are accepted. If you have a plan that is not already accepted, Transitions will assist with billing your insurance company in any way possible. |

From Route 2 take exit 8 (Hebron Avenue). At the end of the exit, follow signs leading to Glastonbury Center. At the intersection of Hebron Avenue and New London Turnpike, take a right onto New London Turnpike. You will take the next left onto Welles Street. Upon turning onto Welles, you will see signs for the Shoppes at Fox Run on the right. Turn right into the driveway. We are in the same building as the Whole Foods Supermarket.
The entrance to the offices is in between the Whole Foods Supermarket and the Natural Nails & Spa store. Take the stairs or elevator to the second floor. Suite 204 is the third office on the right down the hallway. If you get lost, please don't hesitate to call (860)652-0428.
