| Practice Description: |
Are you looking for counseling in the greater Roseville and Sacramento area? I am a therapist who offers counseling services to individuals, couples, and families. For your convenience, I have two offices: My principle office is in East Roseville and my ancillary office is in Midtown Sacramento.
I use mainstream counseling techniques combined with coaching skills to help you change your life. Most people know what is not going well in their life and as a result can experience frustration, anxiety, depression, and a sense of being lost because they have not been able to adequately address life's problems. I work with people of all ages to reduce their negative emotional and behavioral symptoms and increase their overall happiness and satisfaction. While I work with many adults and couples, I have an affinity helping teens learn appropriate coping skills that will help them to become emotionally healthy adults.
I believe that in order for therapy to be effective, establishment of a safe therapeutic relationship is vital. In order to work through issues people need to be able to share their innermost thoughts and feelings without fear of retribution or rejection. My clinical style helps alleviate one's fear and angst associated with confronting personal issues.
My clinical methodology relies heavily on those whom I counsel and what will ultimately work for them. With children and adolescents, I predominantly use Play Therapy, Cognitive/Behavioral Therapy, and/or Art Therapy. With adults I employ Object Relations Theory as well as Psychodynamic, Psychoeducational, and traditional talk therapy.
My practice has culminated into a warm, comfortable, and friendly approach to counseling. In addition to in-office appointments, I offer in-home services, phone and e-therapy. Please give me a call or send me an email to see if I am the right therapist for you. I will promptly respond to your enquiry.
