| Practice Description: |
I believe therapy is a process of self-discovery and achieving a fulfilling lifestyle. When our lives are out of balance, it impacts our relationships and health. Therapy can restore that balance. My strengths as a therapist lie in providing empathic approaches, helping to improve balance and stability, commitment to keeping focused on my clients goals and strengths, utilizing tools for self and relationship improvement and helping clients gain insights into their thoughts and behaviors. I provide a safe, comfortable, and trusting environment to explore your thoughts and feelings. Together we can heal your past, live in the present and plan your future.
My specialties are with stress related issues such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders, relationship issues and conflict, trauma and PTSD, and substance abuse issues. I work with individuals, couples, adults, adolescents, and children. Also, I am certified in Prepare-Enrich for premarital and marital couples seeking assessment and counseling in their relationship.
I have been trained in the more traditional theoretical orientations of Psychodynamic, Existential, and Cognitive-Behavioral as well as Holistic approaches to help clients heal and live in the present moment.
I am currently in the process of accruing hours towards licensure as a Psychologist and am a registered Psychological Assistant PSB # 35820. I see clients in two offices; in Newport Beach and Brea, CA.
