The most important thing in therapy is that you, the client, feel comfortable with your therapist. Therapy is hard work and a positive therapeutic relationship is essential for growth. I work best with clients who value direct and honest feedback from me. I am available for appointments at my downtown Chicago location.
I provide brief and long-term psychotherapy to individuals and couples. As a licensed Clinical Psychologist and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, I specialize in the treatment of adults as well as adolescents dealing with depression, anxiety, addictions, and relationship issues.
My clinical style is down-to-earth and pragmatic. In therapy, I assist my clients by cultivating the insight needed to change while providing the support needed to make change possible. I believe in assisting my client through this process of change and often rely on cognitive-behavioral techniques to make this a reality
