We've all been thrown into life, for better or worse. Without having asked for it, our habits and ways travel onward with us. Therapy gives us an opportunity to examine ourselves--who we’ve become and what we carry with us. Understanding opens a possibility for change. Our past may play a big role in who we are but it doesn’t have to determine who we shall become.
We begin by creating a space for you to be yourself. There we can develop an understanding of you, your struggles, and your goals. I honor what you value most. I help you to understand and bear emotional difficulties you may be going through. We target specific struggles you are facing--feeling stuck or hopeless, eating problems, depression (and trouble getting out of bed), anxieties, concerns with identity and many more.
Logistics: I offer out of network provisions for any insurance company. I also have a number of spots that work on a sliding scale. Currently, my full fee is $120, but if you're struggling financially and I have availability, we may be able to come to an agreement that works for you.
