I will strive to help you find your personal inner strengths, and the courage and motivation to make positive changes in your life. Together we will set goals, find your strengths, and use them to help you improve your overall well being and feel better.
I work with individuals who are experiencing everyday life stressors (unemployment, divorce, and grief) as well as individuals who have experienced major life disruptions (sexual and/or physical abuse, domestic violence, and addiction) and mental health issues (anxiety, posttraumatic stress, depression, and bi-polar disorder).
I believe in the uniqueness of each individual and will strive to create a personalized treatment plan to fit your individual need. I use an integrative approach to therapy using techniques from several different counseling theories, because there is no "one size fits all" treatment plan in counseling
