I create a safe, compassionate, accepting environment in which to explore deep personal issues. I specialize in treating trauma on levels of mind, body and spirit. Together,we design and implement concrete steps for achieving a healthy, fulfilling life.I bring to my work 30 years of experience as a psychotherapist, as well as training in hypnotherapy, dream work, somatic experiencing and meditation practice.
I have guided the healing process for hundreds of people challenged by depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties and trauma from physical, mental and sexual abuse. Your individual needs determine the methods of treatment. My training in somatic experiencing helps people release even very old trauma from the body and the psyche. My own healing journey and life experience as a wife, mother, stepmother, nature lover, traveler, spiritual seeker and worker for social justice enable me to bring a breadth of understanding and wisdom to the lives of those with whom I work..
