| Practice Description: |
Are you struggling with individual, family, or relationship challenges? Are you feeling anxious, sad, or overwhelmed by the holiday season. Do the holidays or family trigger your emotions. Do you feel the losses in your life more pronounced at this time of year? Understanding grief and loss and how it affects you can be a start to your healing process. You may be underestimating how loss has interfered in your life. Loss does not only mean the passing of a loved one but can also mean loss of relationship, job, status, friendship, and pets. Therapy can provide an opportunity for relief, insight, growth, and change. I would like to offer support and understanding to you so you can start to mend and move away from your pain. My approach is interactive, forming a collaborative relationship with you so you can regain motivation to problem solve and get back to what you truly enjoy in life. My approach is to first listen and learn about you. I will then help you learn how to align your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I have expertise working with children, adolescents, and parents; and extensive experience working with clients individually and in group settings. I have worked with multiple individuals with a diagnosis and also those who are dealing with life transitions. It is of my utmost importance to create a safe, nurturing therapeutic relationship. This environment fosters the opportunity to find more effective ways to handle emotions, improve moods, and feel empowered in relationships. I encourage feedback throughout our work together in order for you to have a satisfying experience and personally rewarding life.
