Rising Tide Therapy serves individuals in the Hampton Roads area seeking confidential and discreet support in working through issues and stressors effecting their everyday lives.
The office is located in a serene residential section of Virginia Beach, within a five minute stroll to the Chesapeake Bay.
Difficult feelings can be a gateway for personal growth. Many individuals struggle with depression and anxiety, trauma, problems in relationships, work-related conflicts, or simply put, that feeling that something just isn't right. Our goal will be to help you gain awareness of and explore those difficult thoughts, feelings, and past experiences which prevent you from being comfortable with who you are, what you want, and the kinds of relationships that you want to have with others.
Therapy is goal oriented and together, we will identify potential areas of growth for you.

| Fee Schedule: |
The fee per session is $150 for the first 75-minute intake session and $125 for regular 50-minute sessions for individuals, family, and couples.
The fee for clinical supervision towards licensure of LPC, LMFT, and RPT/S is $75 per individual (in person, Skype, or telephonic), triadic, or group hour long session. |
| Insurance and Billing Instructions: |
Insurance is not accepted method of payment for therapy services. This allows for the utmost protection of your privacy and confidentiality. Insurance companies demand highly detailed information about your history, symptoms, level of functioning, and progress in treatment, which become part of your public health record.
If requested, documentation can be provided for you to file an "out of network claim" for reimbursement with your insurance company. |

Morning, afternoon, and evening appointments are available for your convenience. If there is a need for an immediate appointment, a meeting is usually able to be scheduled within 24-48 hours of your initial phone call or email. |
