| Practice Description: |
Change is inevitable, and yet, repeating old patterns and feeling stuck are very common experiences. As a therapist, I help clients engage in compassionate and insightful self-explorations which translate in better coping and overall quality of life. I enjoy bringing my best understanding, attention and caring-honesty to each session. My approach integrates cognitive-behavioral, humanistic and psychodynamic techniques under a framework that emphasizes each person's unique experience as essential to growth and change.
My training and practice started in Argentina at the Universidad de Belgrano in 1999, and continued at the City University of New York (2003-2008), NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in NYC (2002-2008), the NY State Department of Mental Health (2004-2008), the Center for Community Health and Education (2004-2008), and more recently at Morrison Child & Family Services (2008-present), and my private practice here in Oregon.
I hope I can be of help to you, so don't hesitate to contact me to discuss your needs and expectations. I offer an initial free consultation in my office. Thanks. Alejandro.
