| Practice Description: |
There are many good reasons to welcome change into your life. You may be feeling sad, worried or lonely. Relationships do not work as well as you wished. Maybe you simply feel you could do better than this. Psychotherapy is definitely one of the ways to achieve the desired change. Through safe and supportive environment I will be there for you, attentive to your emotional and intellectual needs. In a non-judgmental approach we will explore your strengths and weaknesses, your wishes and desires, your adaptive functioning in certain situations and learn to apply it in others where you feel vulnerable.
Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioral models are both incorporated into my work. I have specialized in working with clients who suffer from anxiety and mood disorders. My research and my practice have focused on the family-career conflict and the stress of urban, modern life. Lastly, I have worked with clients dealing with sexual orientation and gender issues. If you are ready to make the move, I am happy to be there and help.
